Ker & Downey kicked off the summer safari season with a bang
this June with one of our largest and most successful safaris ever!
Jean Auel, celebrated author of “Clan of the Cave Bear”,
from Portland, Oregon brought her entire ‘clan’ of 32 on
safari under canvas for 16 days. Eight Professional Guides, 50 crew,
and 2 nannies totalling over 500 years of experience in running safaris
ensured this production ran like clockwork. This is not to mention
the credit due for those who ran all the behind the scenes air charters
and transfers, radio re-supplies, custom made menus, full time vehicle
workshop keeping us on the road in good order, and much, much more!
This kind of safari highlights the
flexibility of what my company can offer. We are able to provide
the ideal
safari for anyone from
honeymooners
to extended families. Whether you want to have the peaceful atmosphere
of boutique lodges and the Indian Ocean breeze, or the excitement and
adventure of tracking big cats at dawn or by spotlight, Ker & Downey
Safaris are tailored to fit all types of demands and desires.
